Welcome to the MiniatureWargaming Encyclopedia!
The Miniature Wargaming Encyclopedia is a wiki, like the famous Wikipedia, in which members can add and edit articles. More than anything else, I would like to see the Minipedia offer a complete listing of figures lines, rules sets and manufacturers., in part to replace the now-defunct Wargames Directory.
To browse the Minipedia, you should probably begin with the Categories Page As best as I can, I am trying to keep articles organized by category.
If you can’t find what you want, you might try the search function.
To add to the minipedia, you first must register. I collect email addresses, but only to keep out the spammers. Don’t expect to get any advertisements from me.
Once you’ve registered, when you look at a page, you will see the “edit” link. Clicking on that will bring up a form in which you can add to, or edit the existing page.
Links within the site are created by putting the page name between two sets of straight brackets.
To create a new page of information, enter a page title in the box to the left. This will create a new page. You can then click “edit” to add information to it. At the bottom of your page, add a category tag so that the page is indexed. Use an existing category if appropriate (look in the categories page), or if necessary, create a new category. In either case, use the format shown below, but replace “help” with the category name.
To make something bold, or to change font size or color, use standard html tags.
