Mordheim - City of the Damned
Based on the 5th Edition of Warhammer Fantasy Battles, Mordheim is a skirmish campaign game by Games Workshop in which players create a small warband of treasure hunters who accumulate skills and wealth by playing scenarios.
Warbands are created as one of a set of factions:
* Cult of the Possessed - Chaos worshiping mutant scum
* Undead - Zombies, Ghouls, Vampires
* Witchhunters - Sigmarite Inquisitors bent on wiping out chaos
* Middenheim - Basically Vikings
* Reikland - Tough, professional warriors
* Marienburg - Rich merchant adventurers, very “Rennaisance” feeling
* Sisters of Sigmar - The other side of the Sigmarite coin
* Skaven - Rat people
Treasure is collected as “Wyrdstones”, which are warp-touched shards of stone presumed to be the remains of a comet that destroyed the wicked city of Mordheim.
Players use this wyrdstone as money to pay upkeep of their warband, hire new warriors, buy new equipment, and hire “Dramatis Personae”, who function as mercenaries.
