Ahhh I see.
I am in the opposite boat. I work 2 jobs so my wife can stay home with our kids.
How old are your kids? I have 2, Daughter Erin 4 & Son Andy 3
Morning! Had been looking around your site last night and liked the photos someone (you?) took at the game in Dearborn this past Saturday. My friend Steve and I were there with the Lord of the Rings game. You got some nice photos. Should have come back after it was finished getting set up. I believe all of the players had a good time with it.
You must have already left before we sat up at Spartacon in January. Brought the WWII Americans and Germans....rather nice game. Would have thought we would have seen some shots of that game.
I guess it is near Toronto...not sure. Steve is the driving force on these things. I’m just his “roady” that helps haul the stuff around. Will try and get more details and post back here later.
Not so much....Steve was a moving force in getting it started. I was “on the road” for most of the 80’s & 90’s for the job. Steve had to find others to play with while I was out of town. I have been down there on occasion, but usually we play on the table in Steve’s basement the we put together about 26 years ago. Over the years it has seen many a battle!
Seems like I have gamed with Steve a couple of times at Pro or Con, Battlefields or Spartacon. I used to hit them all religiously, but the last few years I have been working 2 jobs & have missed most of them.
Yea, Steve said he knew you. We have been making the gaming rounds since the late 70’s. That darn JOB and kids can slow you down, but my kids are grown, heck the boy love to game with us. I suspect I will run into you somwehere along the line. Also, for as many Michigan gamers that are out there I am surprised they have not found this forum for sharing ideas, games-event, etc. May just take some time I guess. Love the site, keep up the good work!!!
