Pre-made hex table

This is to gauge the interest people would have in a table that comes with a terrain mat protected with plastic cover with hexes imprinted onto the cover. I have built a prototype and it works and looks great. The plastic cover also allows dry erase markers for use with notes or if you must leave turn and note information. I have one with green terrain under neath it as shown. Let me hear some feedback good or bad. initial research on price would be steep between $150 to $200 depending on size still searching for cheaper supplies as I just started i am sure to find and lower the costs accordingly.

This is an easy, quick and cheap to make eastern style house. Inventive people can add top floors, stairways, side buildings etc.
When dry and painted it has a decent weight and is very solid.
From the front page: Paper Modeling Guide

Paper Modeling Guide
Here’s a very good guide to building paper models. Increasingly, I’m turning to paper instead of more traditional building materials.

To that I will add, me too. I have made several of Dave’s models, and have several more waiting. If you build the basic model, it looks pretty good, as is. But after a couple, you soon find ways to embellish them - for example, for brick walls, I print a couple of copies, then from the main panel, I’ll cut out a few bricks here and there, and stick patches from the copy behind the holes. Then from the copy, I’ll cut out a few more bricks, and stick them onto the main panel. It then adds to the texture.

Add to that tanks from Paper Tiger Armaments, and you’ll never throw out another cereal box! :D

Middle East Airport in 285th scale - WIP

Here is the first look at a project I’ve been working on for a while. This 285th scale airport section is based on a small portion of Baghdad International Airport, one corner of the airport that contains the approach end of runway 15R and some of the commercial terminals. Much artistic license has been taken in reproducing the airport especially in the area of dimensions… the general layout is pretty close to the prototype but dimensions have been cheated on quite a bit.
These boards are part of a larger collection of Middle East boards that will all be used at conventions next year. More details on that later.
