Old Faithful March 17, 2010 Frank Forman (Chevy Chase, MD USA) I've been getting almanacs every year since I was in the sixth grade in 1955. My first one was Information Please and don't recall my first World Almanace and Book of Facts. But that became my favorite and I have been buying it every year since. I have one from 1899 that I fetched from Sarah's family farm. Fun to read! Bookfinder has copies for $63, $129, and $499.
2010 World Almanac and Book of Facts March 16, 2010 Thomas J. Coster (Phoenix, AZ USA) A must have for the knowledge buff. This book gets better and better by the year. Facts and information from all over the world. Great reference guide.
Couriosity March 13, 2010 Rita Stroeh (Swakopmund, Namibia) My friend in Australia has got a "Book of Facts" from the year 2003 and he tried everything to get a newer ones in Australia. That was not successful. So I managed to get the one I've ordered in USA via amazon.com
That will be his birthday present. To be able to find things like that by a mouse click is really great!
I recommended amazon.com to all my friends in Namibia were I live and in Germany were I was born.

World Almanac & Book of Facts February 24, 2010 W. Brown Interesting book. I look forward to the new one each year. Shipment was prompt and arrived in good condition.
Great learning tool, fun facts, recommended reading. February 23, 2010 J. Lenk (Chester County, PA) My third edition of The World Almanac. I enjoyed 2006 and 2008. I purchase a new every 2 years. Hard to put down if you enjoy facts of the world. I particularly enjoy watching how the worlds tallest buildings change with each issue.
